Cape May, NJ - Sept. 26-28th 2013

Well, Dave and I are on the road again! We actually headed out Sept. 25th at 10:00 p.m. and Dave drove all night!! And all day the next day! It actually wasn't that bad. I stayed up until 3:00 a.m. then took a cat nap since I needed some rest so I could work Thursday. (A 'thank-you' shout out to my boss, Loretta Maimone, the best boss ever! She lets me travel and work remotely!).

We had no issues, no traffic, and just as I was finishing up working around 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, we arrived in Cape May, NJ. What a lovely, beautiful historic town!

We did what we always do, we checked into our RV park, then hit the ground running! We checked in at Seashore Campsites in  Cape May (some photos below), then headed out by car (even though Dave had just driven 1,050 miles non-stop).

The photos above are in downtown Cape May. Beautiful town with quaint shops and restaurants.

Again, even though we'd driven all night and all day, we ate dinner downtown then went to a play at the local theater (in a church). The Late Christopher Bean...very good play!

We stopped at the place above for some pumpkin ice cream. OMG, it was so good!!

Got some salt water taffy!

This purse is a VW bus completely hand beaded! I thought of Diane Ryan...not that she would carry it, but she would think it's cool!

Farm stand by Seashore Campsites. Cutest farm stand ever!! Photo directly above shows our purchases! Yum! Dave ate the pumpkin 'whoopee pie' and said it was amazing!
Well, we loved Cape May, NJ but are moving onward to Rhinebeck, NY! Left Cape May around 11:00 a.m. on Saturday 28th and Dave listened to the UCF/South Carolina game on the drive. UCF played a good game, but not good enough! Next time!

Until our next stop...
Blessings,
Misi and Dave
